Teal Farm is under construction as an organic, diversified farm working to produce food and fertility to support a year-round diet for the Northeast climate. This requires growing food, processing it locally, and storing it using renewable energy. Perpetual agriculture at Teal Farm will include: a permaculture-designed fruit, nut and berry orchard; annual vegetable and seed gardens; a solar wood-drying kiln; cultivation and preservation of rare food-plant varieties; and grazing animals.
